In season from Memorial Day to Labor Day live music is pretty easy to find. Many of the restaurants and bars will offer live music. Some of my personal favorites, broken down by area (and whether you get some views), are:
Duck- Tap Shack and The Blue Pointe (sound views)
Kill Devil Hills- OBX Brewing Station, Jack Browns, Avalon Pier (ocean views) and Blue Crab Tavern (sound views)
Nags Head- Fish Heads (ocean views)
Manteo- Mimis Tiki Hut (sound views) and Roanoke Island Festival Park (check out Vusic.com for upcoming concerts)
Off season many of these places still offer the live music, just make sure to check check websites, social media, or call before heading that way.
